Log water and drinks
Record water or another drink in Diary and include its volume in your daily water total.
Add water or a drink#
- In Diary, open Water & Drinks and tap +. You can also open the app’s + menu and choose add Liquid.
- In Add fluid, enter a Name and an Amount. The name starts as Water; change it for another drink. The amount field's unit follows Profile > Settings > Unit System, and Train Libre converts it to milliliters when saving.
- For a drink with known values, enter Sugar (g / 100ml) and Caffeine (optional). These fields describe the drink per 100 ml, not the whole amount.
- Check the date and time, then tap Add. The amount is added to the selected day’s water total.
Entries logged in Imperial before this conversion was fixed may have a saved volume that is too low. Train Libre cannot identify those entries reliably; review and correct any affected amounts manually.
Plain water can be logged with just its name and volume. The form has no separate calorie or other nutrient fields; calories are calculated from the sugar value. For a catalog drink with nutrition information, add it through Nutrition Explorer instead: select Add to water intake in its quantity sheet to count its volume toward water as well. See Log food and review calories and macronutrients.
Review or correct an entry#
- Expand Water & Drinks in Diary to see that day’s entries and their volume. Where values were entered, the row also shows calories, sugar, and caffeine.
- Tap a manually added drink to edit its name, amount, date, time, sugar, or caffeine, then tap Save. Swipe the entry to delete it and confirm. For a catalog drink, edit it through its food entry in Diary.
Entered sugar contributes to the day’s sugar and carbohydrate totals, and its quantity is used to calculate calories. Entered caffeine is also logged in the Caffeine supplement tracker; avoid logging the same drink’s caffeine again manually. For supplement tracking details, see Log caffeine and other supplements.
