Read the Statistics hub

Use the Statistics hub to scan your workout, body, nutrition, and enabled health summaries, then open a card for more detail.

Choose a period#

  1. Open Statistics. The hub starts with 7D selected.
  2. Choose 7D, 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, or MAX. This changes the period shown by the hub cards that follow the selected range.
  3. For a period other than MAX, use the arrows beside the date label to move backward or forward. Tap the date label to choose a date and either a rolling period or a calendar period. The date picker starts at 2020. Forward navigation stops at the current period.
  4. Tap a card to open its detail screen. Check that screen’s date controls: several detail views have their own period and do not follow the hub selection.

MAX shows the available history for that view and has no date navigation. A detail screen may offer different ranges from the hub.

Scan the sections and cards#

  • Steps appears when step tracking is enabled. Its card shows the selected-period label and step count. With 7D selected, the large count is for Today; with another hub range selected, it is Total steps for that range. Tap the card to open Steps, which starts at today’s Day view regardless of the hub range. See steps and health data.
  • Recovery appears when sleep or pulse tracking is enabled. It contains Sleep score and/or Pulse, depending on which tracking options are on. These cards show the hub period label, but tapping opens the current day in the separate Sleep or Pulse view. See steps, sleep, and pulse.
  • Body contains Body & Nutrition and the Body measurements shortcut. The summary card follows the hub’s selected period and opens its own detail view with that period selected. The shortcut opens Measurements, which has a separate date range. See Body & Nutrition statistics and record body measurements.
  • Training contains Training Rhythm, New Personal Bests, and Muscle Groups. Their hub summaries do not all use the selected range: Training Rhythm shows Last 6 weeks, and Muscle Groups shows Last 8 weeks. New Personal Bests follows the selected range. Tap a card for its detail screen; the ranges and controls differ by screen. See training statistics.
  • Nutrition shows a macronutrient summary for the selected hub period. Tap it to open the Nutrition detail view, which has its own range controls. See Body & Nutrition statistics and Macronutrient Analytics.

When a card has little or no data#

Some cards depend on tracking being enabled; others need recorded workouts, body measurements, or Diary entries. A card with no data can show an empty overlay over a faint example layout. Treat only unobscured values as your records. If an enabled health card is empty, check its access and tracking settings in Health settings. If a workout or nutrition card is empty, log the relevant data and revisit Statistics.

The hub is a summary. For individual charts, confirm the displayed period and units on the detail screen before comparing values.
