Read Body & Nutrition statistics
Use Body & Nutrition to review weight and logged calorie trends for a period, then compare them with the data coverage shown on the screen.
Open the detail view and choose a period#
- Open Statistics and tap the Body & Nutrition card under Body. The detail view starts with the period selected in the hub.
- In the detail view, choose 7D, 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, or MAX. Use the arrows beside the date label to move between periods, or tap the label to choose a rolling or calendar period.
- Read the Body & Nutrition summary: Current Weight is the latest weight recorded in the selected period; Weight Change summarizes change across that period; Avg. Calories is the average on days with logged calories. The two trend cards show Rising, Falling, Stable, or Unclear for weight and calories.
- Check Effective range, the confidence label, and Based on … weigh-ins and … calorie days before interpreting the trends. Missing values show as a dash, and insufficient or sparse entries can produce Unclear or an insufficient-data message.
Read the trend chart#
Under Weight and calories over time, use the legend to identify the weight and calorie series. The chart scales each series to fit the same space, so compare their directions and dates, not their vertical magnitudes. Tap a chart point to see its raw weight or calorie value in the selected unit and kcal. Interpretation repeats the observed pattern, confidence, and data coverage.
This is trend context; it does not show that calorie changes caused weight changes. Log body weight in Measurements and food in the Diary to build the two series. Body weight imported from Apple Health or Health Connect can also appear; see health data.
Review Nutrition statistics#
The Nutrition card on the Statistics hub opens the Nutrition detail view with the hub’s selected period. Use the detail view’s own 7D, 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, or MAX controls to change the period. For periods other than MAX, use the arrows beside the date label or tap the label to choose a rolling or calendar period. The summary shows period-average calories and macronutrients by default; tap a day on the chart to show that day’s values. Scroll to the daily breakdown to review dates with logged intake. For more about chart selection and totals, see Macronutrient Analytics.
In the current English app, parts of this screen still display hard-coded German labels, including Makronährstoffe and Tagesverlauf. The Nutrition app-bar title and the chart data remain available.
